From the early 90’s, where very few options existed for the treatment of Acromegaly, to today, where great progress has been achieved, this podcasts touches on how treatment has literally changed the natural history of treated disease. This progress has been mainly due to advances in our understanding of the disease process, new pharmacological therapies and improved surgical techniques.
